Not my favourite Dr, that would be his predecessor Christopher Eccleston. I have watched Who since it began in 1963 (apart from the years of the "Git Dr-Peter davidson" and I think it gets more surface and less substance. But if you have not seen it give it a go. Its very moreish.
I grew up watching the old Doctor Who series, so I've seen a lot of it. The old series and new series are very different, but I love both for different reasons. If there's a chance to watch the Doctor in action, whether it's the new series or old, I'll take full advantage of it.
"It is impossible to describe without sounding like a raving lunatic" LOL He's so right. Doctor Who must be experienced.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to have to investigate this! I like BBC and British television has a different flavor to it.
ReplyDeleteI did love him as Dr Who but it must be my age that I find the 'new Doctor Stories' a bit forgettable...still great TV

ReplyDeleteI adore David! He will always be my Doctor. <3
ReplyDeleteI loved Christopher Eccleston as The Doctor. I was gutted when he left after one season.
