J is for Jupiter

Growing up, I was fascinated by all the planets.  Most of all, though, I had a soft spot for Jupiter. Maybe witnessing the impact of comet Shoemaker-Levy 9 in July 1994 played a role in this fascination.  I was eight years old, and I'll never forget that excitement.

  2. LOL. In 1994 I was in grad school. ;)
I remember watching this on the internet and showing it off to my girl-friend (at the time, wife now) showing her all the cool things you could do on the net.

    But yeah, it was awesome.

    Keep up the great work!

  3. I have always thought the planets and stars was a fascinating venture to explore.
Jupiter ey? I think Pluto gets a bum rap. It is a planet or it isn't a planet? Scientist cannot seem to make up their minds.
