All tweets composed between 8 p.m. EDT Friday (June 29) and 3 a.m. EDT Saturday (June 30) tagged with the hashtag #ChasingUFOs will be rolled into a single message, according to the National Geographic Channel, which is timing the Twitter event to coincide with the premiere of the channel's new series, "Chasing UFOs."Whether the signal came from aliens or some other source, this is a rare opportunity. I would encourage anyone who dreams of meeting aliens to add their words into the mix. Why not? It may seem like the stuff of science fiction, but science fiction often turns to science fact.

That's a cool idea.
ReplyDeleteI always wondered how we would identify alien signals if they were digitally encoded (or the green man equivalent).
L.G, let's hope people take this very seriously or not at all. Either way can be fun.
ReplyDeleteMany people don't believe in aliens and so far there's not really a whole lot of evidence to support their existence but based on what I know, that there are other galaxies similar to the one we're in, which is the spiral galaxy. Now, with that being said, the other galaxies have planets on them as well but we are not quite as advanced in technology to just load up and explore those other galaxies but if those galaxies are anything compared to the one we're in, who's to say that there may not be alien life out there... or simply put, other humans perhaps. And what if all these claims that people make about seeing UFO's are actually those aliens or humans coming down to our planet just to explore.. what if they're looking for life on other planets?? It may be silly of me to wonder that but it's a thought.. Cool blog by the way!!! And thanks for following me! I'm your newest follower as well!!
ReplyDeleteAtleast I think it's the spiral galaxy right?? LOL!
ReplyDeleteThat's hilarious! Now what in the world should I say to an alien? LOL!
